WORK SCHEDULE FOR A CALL CENTER OPERATOR

This full position works nights and weekends. Shift hours are 12pm - 8:15pm.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A CALL CENTER OPERATOR

As a Call Center Operator, you are vital to our mission of caring for those who come into our medical center. You come in for your shift ready to support the call operations center to assist patients with meal selection over the phone for ANMC and Patient Housing. This customer-service oriented position, you are responsible to assist customers with requests and inquiries. You also process room service orders as they come in. As you serve, you always have a friendly smile on your face. Are you able to work independently as well as with a team? If yes, you might just be perfect for this position!

Qualifications

  • Must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent.

  • Must have at least six (6) months of work experience of call center related duties.

  • Able to use the following equipment: computer and multi-line telephone including hands-free headset.

  • Able to work independently and complete assignments in a timely manner.

  • Must pass a fingerprinting background investigation that complies with The Crime Control Act, Child Care Worker Act and the Indian Child Protection and Family Violence Prevention Act.

  • Contract requires employees to speak, understand, read and write English.

  • Contractor may be required to maintain all employee health records on site.

  • This contract requires employees to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (two weeks after the last dose).

BACKGROUND REQUIREMENT

Level One: An individual is ineligible to work in any position that has regular contact with or control over children, dependent adults, or vulnerable persons if the individual has been convicted of:

  • One or more felonies and/or two or more misdemeanors of crimes against persons or crimes of violence

  • Any crime against a child, dependent adult, or vulnerable person, regardless of its classification as a felony, misdemeanor, or other types of offense

  • Any sex crime, regardless of its classification as a felony, misdemeanor, or another type of offense

  • Murder

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Six (6) months of work experience in the food service industry.

  • Basic computer proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, technical aptitude to learn new software programs.

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Weather: Indoors: environmentally controlled; requires most or all work to be done inside.

Noise level: Moderate

Description of environment: This is an industrial hospital kitchen located in a healthcare setting.

Physical requirements: Extended periods of sitting.
